Once officers located the scene, they found no victims, but officers located a possible suspect a short distance away and made contact. The man was subsequently arrested for probable cause of weapons and booked into Hennepin County Adult Detention Center.
While all of this was going on, the police were notified that a man walked into Hennepin County Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers believe the injury occurred from this incident.
The next incident happened at around 2 a.m. An officer heard sounds of shots fired in the area of 300 Block West Broadway and responded to investigate. While looking for the scene or any victims, a ShotSpotter report came in.
Officers were then advised of a vehicle seen leaving the area at a high rate speed. Later on, the vehicle showed up at North Memorial Medical Center with a man suffering from a gunshot wound that is considered not life-threatening.
