33-year-old Minneapolis shooting victim identified
A 33-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred this past weekend in Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said on Monday Lavelle Deharon Jackson, from Minneapolis, died early Sunday morning of multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 2:23 a.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of 46th Avenue South on a report of a person shot.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they located Jackson in critical condition inside a building. The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Preliminary information indicated that a dispute occurred and escalated into a shooting. The suspect fled before officers’ arrival.
Jackson later died at Hennepin Healthcare.
There are no suspects in this case as of Monday.
