Senate candidate Lewis quarantining after potential COVID-19 exposure

U.S. Senate candidate Jason Lewis is quarantining due to possible COVID-19 exposure, his campaign announced Wednesday.

The campaign’s Communications Director, Christine Snell, issued the following statement:

"This morning, an individual who was in contact with Congressman Lewis on Monday tested positive for COVID-19. In accordance with CDC guidelines, Congressman Lewis has begun the quarantine process and will be getting tested again. Congressman Lewis is currently feeling fine and displaying no symptoms. All campaign staffers who were in contact with Congressman Lewis since Monday are also self-quarantining and will be tested."

Lewis also came into contact with President Donald Trump last week. On Monday, Lewis said he’d tested negative for COVID-19 over the weekend.
