2 people rescued after sailboat tips over on St. Louis County lake

Two people were rescued Wednesday after a sailboat tipped over on a St. Louis County Lake, according to WDIO-TV in Duluth, a Hubbard-owned station.

WDIO reports authorities were called at about 5 p.m. to Grand Lake on the report of two people struggling in the water.

The two boaters were able to get the tipped sailboat upright and get back in the boat.

The boat was then towed to shore by the Grand Lake Fire Department and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the two boaters were uninjured.
