2 Minnesota United players test positive for COVID-19; match vs. FC Dallas postponed
Two first-team Minnesota United FC players have tested positive for coronavirus, the team announced on Saturday.
Major League Soccer has already postponed the team’s scheduled match at FC Dallas on Sunday.
In a news release, Minnesota United said all players and staff have been tested three additional times since the first positive test was reported. Two of the players have had confirmed positive cases, while all other tests came back negative.
All team activities have been suspended, and all players and staff have gone into quarantine while more testing and contact tracing are underway.
