Duluth man airlifted to hospital after dirt bike accident

A Duluth man was airlifted to a hospital after a dirt bike accident in Holyoke Township, Saturday.
According to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report of a dirt bike crash at 3:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Harlis Road.
The sheriff’s office said a 20-year-old lost control of his dirt bike while traveling with a large group of riders on the Wilderness Trail and suffered significant injuries.
First responders took the victim off the trail. He was then airlifted to a Duluth-area hospital in unknown condition.
