Toddler killed in Kandiyohi County crash identified

The two-year-old girl who died following a crash in Kandiyohi County last week has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the girl as Myra Kay Ahrenholz. She died from multiple blunt force injuries.
She was sitting on the lap of the 23-year-old driver when the vehicle they were in rolled into a ditch on Thursday.

Ahrenholz was airlifted from the scene but died while en route to a hospital, authorities said.
The driver, identified as Kourtney Schwitters, suffered serious injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
