COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 28 new deaths, 153 new hospitalizations

Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 28 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 1,536 deaths since the pandemic began.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 153 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 8,754.

A total of 158,578 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 3,107 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that 1,726,967 people have been tested in the state.
