Hopkins police offering $500 to identify sexual assault suspect

The Hopkins Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.

The police department is offering $500 for anyone who can identify the suspect.

Police said on April 4, at around 3:30 p.m., a girl was sexually assaulted by a man on the 500 block of Blake Road North. Officers responded to the victim on April 5 at around 8 a.m.

The man is described as being in his 50s, between 5-feet-4-inches and 5-feet-7-inches, weighing around 230 pounds with short hair. He is known to ride the Metro Transit bus route #17
