Fire officials extinguish house fire in Minneapolis, no injuries
Fire officials extinguished a house fire in Minneapolis Saturday morning.
According to Minneapolis Fire Department, at 5:02 a.m., crews were dispatched to a report of smoke in a two-story residential duplex located at 2900 California Street Northeast.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and fire from the second floor. Once inside, the fire crew attempted to search the building for victims, but due to the heavy fire and possible compromised roof, crews evacuated from the house and started taking out the fire from the outside.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire. They searched and cleared all floors. There were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire will be under investigation.
