Hentges pitched an inning last Tuesday vs. the White Sox that included three strikeouts and a home run allowed to reigning A.L. MVP Jose Abreu. Hentges was called upon a second time on Sunday vs. the Yankees, pitching 1.2 scoreless innings to earn his first MLB win.

Hentges, 24, was a fourth round pick in 2014 by Cleveland, out of high school.
