2 injured in shooting in Minneapolis
Two people were injured in a shooting in Minneapolis Monday afternoon, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
Police say officers were called just before 4 p.m. on the report of shots fired in the area of the 1800 block of Lowry Avenue North. Officers went to the area but were unable to find anyone.
Two adults later arrived at North Memorial Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police say there was an infant in the vehicle with the two victims that suffered wounds from broken glass and bullet fragments to the hand. The child did not suffer a gunshot wound.
The child’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
