Prior Lake boys lacrosse takedown Eastview

The Prior Lake Lakers boys lacrosse team defeated the Eastview Lightning 6-4, Tuesday evening at Eastview High School.

Prior Lake started the scoring when senior Jack Smith scored to make it 1-0, with over eight minutes remaining in the first quarter. Then, sophomore Ben Mickett added to the scoring when he scored on a laser, making it 2-0 Lakers with 6:17 remaining in the first. Later in the first, junior Dalton Spratt scored while on his back to make it 3-0 Prior Lake with just under three minutes left in the quarter.
In the second quarter, the Lakers added to their lead when junior Keller Gonyeah scored to make it 4-0 with 6:27 left in the quarter. Then, senior Joeseph Carnevale made it 5-0 Prior Lake with 4:17 left in the half.
The Lightning would make it close in the second half, but Prior Lake would hold on for the victory.
The Lakers are the two-time defending state champions and improve to 3-1 on the season.
