Saliva testing site to open in Mankato

Opportunities for COVID-19 saliva tests continue to grow in Minnesota.

Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Health announced a saliva testing site is set to open in Mankato on Friday.

The testing location will be at the former Gander Mountain at 1940 Adams Street.

Gov. Walz visits new COVID-19 saliva testing lab in Oakdale

The site will be open Friday through Tuesday, from noon to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekend days.

This is the fifth saliva testing site to open up in the state. All of the saliva tests will be processed at the new saliva tests in Oakdale, which opened Tuesday.

Saliva tests are free to all Minnesotans, including those who are asymptomatic. Appointments for testing can be made here.
