Twin Cities high school football game canceled due to COVID tracing

Anoka High School’s varsity football game has been canceled on Friday due to a COVID-19 investigation.

According to an Anoka-Hennepin School District Facebook post, the Anoka vs. Champlin Park High School varsity football game planned for Friday at 3:30 p.m. has been canceled due to a COVID-19 related investigation.

The post said all known close contact individuals have been identified.

Champlin Park High School will be playing at St. Michael-Albertville at 4 p.m. on Friday instead, and any additional schedule changes to other games will be made at a later date.

More information is expected to be shared with students, parents/guardians and the community when they become available.
