Anoka-Hennepin middle, high schools to move to distance learning

Friday, Anoka-Hennepin Schools, the largest school district in the state, announced that its middle and high schools would move to distance learning.

The middle and high schools will begin distance learning on Nov. 4.

Elementary schools will remain in hybrid learning.

The district cited county-level COVID-19 data as its reasoning for the shift.

Distance learning will remain in place through Dec. 4.

Classes will be held in the district on Nov. 2 or Nov. 3 to prepare for the transition.
