Man injured after shooting in St. Paul Friday

A 53-year-old man was shot and injured in St. Paul Saturday night.

According to the St. Paul police, police received a call at 7:58 p.m. saying someone had been shot near Curtice Street E. and Sidney Street E. in St. Paul.

When officers arrived at the scene they located a man with a gunshot wound to the neck.

The 53-year-old victim was transported to Regions Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The 73-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
