Cold weather continues with some snowfalls expected Sunday

Periods of snow accumulation of 1 inch or less in the Twin Cities before tapering off to flurries Sunday evening, according to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.
The highest snow amounts are seen more towards southern Minnesota, said Yuhas.
Sunday will be 34 degrees as the high with a low of 20 degrees. Yuhas stated that the record cold on Oct. 25 is 30 degrees set in 1887.
Monday is expected to be sunny to partly cloudy and continues to be unseasonably cold. The temperatures are expected to be 32 degrees for the high and 17 degrees for the low.
The rest of next week is expected to be sunny with some clouds and in the mid-40s.
