Missing 80-year-old found dead in Isanti County

An 80-year-old Mora woman who was reported missing was found dead in Isanti County Monday afternoon.

The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call regarding a vehicle in a cornfield on Jamestown Street and 343rd Avenue Northeast.

Authorities searching for missing Kanabec County woman

When officers arrived, they found the vehicle occupied by 80-year-old Andrea Nyberg. Nyberg was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

The matter remains under investigation at this time by both Kanabec and Isanti County.
