Minneapolis man charged in armed robbery spree of Twin Cities businesses

A Minneapolis man has been charged in connection to an armed robbery spree of Twin Cities businesses.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 28-year-old Daijon Lewis Miles is charged with three counts of Hobbs Act robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during a violent crime.

Man charged in connection to multiple armed robberies in Twin Cities

According to a criminal complaint, between 2:16 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. on July 28, Miles used force, violence and fear of injury to commit thre armed robberies of businesses in Minneapolis and St. Paul — two liquor stores and one gas station.

He was arrested last week and was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
