COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 12 new deaths, 38 new hospitalizations

Wisconsin health officials on Wednesday announced 12 new deaths related to COVID-19, increasing the state’s total to 1,142 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 38 new hospitalizations Wednesday, with 5,916 total hospitalizations during the pandemic.
As of Wednesday, 77,129 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 545 new cases reported Wednesday.
DHS reported that 1,268,677 people have been tested in the state.
