Duluth’s Bentleyville Festival of Lights to convert to drive-thru event
In its 17th year of existence, the annual Bentleyville Tour of Lights in Duluth with be converted to a drive-thru format due to COVID-19 concerns, according to WDIO-TV, a Hubbard-owned station.
Organizer Nathan Bentley and Duluth Mayor Emily Larson made the announcement during a news conference Wednesday.

The holiday event normally attracts hundreds of thousands of people to Bayfront Park in November and December.
This year, the event will cost attendees $10. Bentley said the charge will cover donations and other losses in revenue.
Bentleyville 2020 is scheduled to be open from Saturday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Dec. 27. The event will open at 5 p.m. nightly and remain open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
