9/11 Memorial Museum reopens after months of closure

The 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York reopened Friday after being closed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The reopening marks the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack and coincides with the annual commemoration ceremony attended by victims’ families at the World Trade Center site.
Family members will have exclusive access to the museum on Friday.
The museum will reopen to the public Saturday with changes to health and safety measures, ticketing and operations. Visitors and staff are required to wear a mask or face covering and the museum will reduce capacity to 25% to help ensure social distancing. Also, timed tickets are required and must be purchased in advance.
