Showers, some heavy storms pop up around state on Saturday

Friday night into Saturday will make for wet conditions, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Dahl says showers will stretch into the afternoon hours on Saturday.

The high in the metro will be in the mid-60s.

Dahl said some heavy rain could fall in the metro area, also stretching to southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Temperatures are expected to rise beginning on Sunday into the 70s.
