KSTP’s Brett Hoffland returns to the newsroom following cancer treatment

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS anchor and reporter Brett Hoffland is returning to work Tuesday after having undergone treatment for a cancer diagnosis he received in April.
Hoffland underwent chemotherapy treatment, traveling with his wife back and forth from Rochester’s Mayo Clinic for nine weeks of chemo treatment.

In August, Hoffland said he received the update from his doctor that the chemotherapy was effective, adding that he will need routine checkups to ensure the cancer doesn’t return.
