Plan ahead for major traffic delays on Highway 169 in Elk River

Emergency road repairs are underway along Highway 169 in Elk River Tuesday.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, crews are repairing a failed segment of road near Jackson Avenue and 193rd Avenue.

The southbound side will be down to one lane until 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Drivers can expect major traffic delays.

Try taking an alternate such as Proctor Avenue or Twin Lakes Road over to Highway 10 instead. Learn more about the project.
