Medical examiner identifies pedestrian killed in Hopkins crash
The pedestrian who was killed after a car hit her Friday night in Hopkins has been identified as 26-year-old Olivia DeMesue of Hopkins.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, DeMeuse died of multiple blunt force injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Main Street, the Hopkins Police Department said. Police took the driver, a 28-year-old man, into custody on suspicion of DWI.
