Suspected methamphetamine lab discovered and searched in Yellow Medicine County
A suspected methamphetamine lab was discovered and dismantled in Yellow Medicine County Thursday.
According to a release from the CEE-VI Drug Task Force, on Thursday, authorities executed a narcotics search warrant on a rural residence in Yellow Medicine County.
During the search of the residence, agents discovered a suspected liquid methamphetamine conversion lab, and also recovered around three and a half pounds of methapmhetaine in various stages of conversion.
Task force members also found chemicals and pieces of equipment commonly used to convert liquid methamphetamine into its crystal form.
The task force also located a Molotov cocktail incendiary device on the premises, which was disposed of by the Bloomington Bomb Squad.
This case is under investigation.
