Residents in Anoka County are planning to honor the late chief of the Fridley Fire Department Monday night.
Fridley Fire Chief Mike Spencer unexpectedly died on Sept. 13 after a medical emergency at his home.

Fridley Public Safety officials said many Anoka County residents plan to turn on red lights Monday night to honor Spencer on what would’ve been his 54th birthday.
Anyone who wants to join in is encouraged to leave a red light lit outside their home.
