National Sports Center cancels 2020 Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo due to COVID-19 concerns
The National Sports Center announced Wednesday that it has canceled the 2020 Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo.
NSC said the decision was made due to health and safety concerns for everyone involved amid the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it plans to work with Clam Outdoors to showcase new ice fishing gear and tips via social media and email newsletters, which will also include special offers and promotions.
"We are disappointed that we are unable to get together with everyone this year at the 2020 Hardwater Ice Expo in Blaine but we think this is the best decision for the health and safety of everyone involved in the event. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2021," said Clam Outdoors CEO Dave Osborne.
Next year’s Hard Water Ice Fishing Expo is set for Nov. 19-21.
