UPDATE: Downtown Minneapolis light rail stops reopen after protests

UPDATE:

Metro Transit says all stops that were initially closed due to protests in downtown Minneapolis have reopened as of 10:53 p.m.


All Blue Line and Green Line light rail stops in downtown Minneapolis are closed Thursday night until further notice due to demonstrations in the area, Metro Transit said.

The Target Field, Warehouse/Hennepin Avenue, Nicollet Mall, Government Plaza and U.S. Bank Stadium stations are closed, according to a rider alert.

Blue Line trains will flip at the Cedar-Riverside station, and all Green Line trains will flip at the West Bank station.
