St. Paul Public Schools to continue with distance learning model
St. Paul Public Schools announced Friday that it will continue to use a distance learning model.
According to a news release from the district, the decision was made due to the fact that the district’s readiness targets had not been met.
"Our ultimate goal is to welcome students and school staff back to our buildings when it is safe and possible to do so," Superintendent Joe Gothard said.

Gothard said the district will continue to evaluate the district’s readiness targets to ensure that students and staff can return to a hybrid learning model.
The district will review its readiness targets on Oct. 2 to see if stage one of hybrid learning can begin in mid-October.
