Drone temporarily delays Twins game at Target Field
A drone temporarily delayed Tuesday afternoon’s Minnesota Twins game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The game was being played at Target Field when a drone flew over the field shortly after 3 p.m.
Players came to the side of the field and play was halted until the drone left about 9 minutes later.
The Twins said they are working with Minneapolis police to find out who flew the drone over the field, which is illegal because the 3-mile air space around Target Field is restricted.
Police do believe they know where the drone landed, the Twins said.
