Wisconsin woman killed in crash on I-35W in Minneapolis identified

A Wisconsin woman is dead after a Tuesday night crash in Minneapolis.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash happened at Interstate 35W and Stinson Boulevard.
The state patrol reported an Oldsmobile Bravada was traveling south on the interstate just before 8 p.m. Tuesday when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
State Patrol investigating fatal crash in Minneapolis
The vehicle struck the guardrail and the driver was thrown from the vehicle. The driver — identified as 50-year-old Tina Marie Hakala, of Hammond, Wisconsin — was pronounced dead at the scene, the state patrol reported.
The crash report states Hakala wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
