Tornado warnings issued in northwestern Minnesota
A tornado warning was issued Sunday afternoon for Clay and Norman counties in northwestern Minnesota and Cass county in North Dakota. The alert expired at 4:15 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located at 3:35 p.m. over Argusville, North Dakota, moving east at 15 mph.

Another tornado warning is in effect for Lake of the Woods County until 4:15 p.m.

A tornado warning issued for parts of Marshall, Red Lake, Polk, Beltrami, Pennington and Clearwater counties expired at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles northwest of Mavie, Minnesota, around 2:41 p.m.
