Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after colliding with vehicle in Stearns County
Authorities are saying a cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision with a vehicle in Stearns County.
The local sheriff’s office said deputies were called just before 11:20 a.m. on the report of a collision involving a bicycle.
Deputies learned a person on a bike, later identified as Christopher Tacl, failed to stop at a stop sign on the Wobegon Trail and struck the passenger side of a vehicle that was traveling on Main Street.
Tacl received immediate medical assistance from the driver of the vehicle.
According to the sheriff’s office, Tacl was later airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was listed in critical condition as of Wednesday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
