RACE UPDATES: Lacy Johnson wins Republican primary for Fifth Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum wins Democratic primary for Fourth Congressional District

9:57 p.m.
Lacy Johnson has been declared the winner of the Republican primary for the Fifth Congressional District. Johnson will go up against Rep. Ilhan Omar during the primary election in November.
In the Fourth Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum won the Democratic primary for the U.S. House.
9:37 p.m.
Former Minnesota Lt. Gov. Michelle Fischbach has been declared the winner of the Republican nomination for the Seventh Congressional District by the Associated Press. She will take on long-time Democratic Rep. Collin Peterson in the general election in November.
In the Eighth Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Pete Stauber won the Republican primary for the U.S. House.

The Associated Press has declared Rep. Ilhan Omar the winner in the Fifth Congressional District Democratic Primary, Melton-Meaux concedes in speech.

While the race is yet to be officially called by the Associated Press, Antone Melton-Meaux has conceded the fifth district Democratic Congressional primary to Rep. Ilhan Omar according to KSTP reporter Crystal Bui.
With about 90% of the election results in, @Antone_MN has conceded in the race, congratulating @IlhanMN and saying he won’t stop pushing forward to hold politicians accountable. He told voters here at the HQ to stay as long as they wish, and is walking around to thank everyone

Republican Congressman Tom Emmer has won the GOP primary for the fifth district and Democratic Congressman Dean Phillips has won the DFL primary for the third district according to the Associated Press. Both are incumbents.
8:48 p.m.
The Associated Press has called the Minnesota Third Congressional District Republican primary for Kendall Qualls. Qualls will go on to face U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips in November.

The Associated Press has called the Minnesota Democratic U.S. Senate Primary for Tina Smith and the Republican primary for Jason Lewis, setting the two candidates up to face off against one another in the November general election.
