COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 478 new cases, 5 additional deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 478 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the total number of positive tests in the state to 62,263.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported five additional deaths, moving the total count to 1,011.
The state also reported 5,125 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.
As of Wednesday, DHS says 1,023,723 people have tested negative for COVID-19. Overall, 1,085,986 people have been tested as of Wednesday, according to the DHS.
The latest report states 84.1% of COVID-19 cases in the state of Wisconsin have recovered thus far.
