Authorities investigating semi fire in Stearns County

Authorities are investigating a semi fire that occurred Wednesday night in Stearns County.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just before 11 p.m. on the report of a semi on fire on County Road 75 north of 240th Street in St. Augusta.
When first responders arrived, they found a semi without a trailer that was fully engulfed. The fire, which was reported by a passerby, was successfully extinguished.
Authorities were unable to find anyone in the area besides the caller.
The semi was destroyed in the fire, authorities said.
The fire remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshal.
