According to a criminal complaint, Eddy Pierre Louis and Sabina Pierre Louis left their three children alone in their Bloomington apartment on the morning of Sept. 21 while they went shopping at Walmart and Cub Foods. Surveillance video obtained by the police shows they were out for at least an hour and a half.

When they returned, their oldest child was sleeping, but their 4-year-old child was in the bathroom. When they went into the bathroom, they discovered their 21-month-old in the tub, the complaint states.

Both are set to be sentenced on Oct. 23.
