Damage, funnel clouds reported as storms roll through Minnesota

Strong storms made their way through Minnesota Friday night, with damage and funnel clouds reported in many areas.
According to the National Weather Service, several counties are in tornado watches and severe thunderstorm until late Friday night.

Many counties were in tornado warnings but those have since expired. A tornado warning for Grant County expired at 4:15 p.m. while a warning for Douglas County expired at 4:30 p.m., a warning for Todd County expired at 5 p.m. and a warning for Kandiyohi, McLeod and Crow Wing counties, expired at 6:15 p.m. Warnings in Cass, Morrison, Sherburne and Stearns counties expired at 6:30 p.m. Warnings in Carver, Meeker, Scott and Sibley counties expired at 6:45 p.m. Warnings in Benton, Isanti, Kanabec and Mille Lacs counties expired at 7 p.m. Warnings for Aitkin, Carlton and Itasca counties expired at 7:30 p.m. Anoka and Hennepin counties’ warnings expired at about 8:10 p.m.
