Video shows a black plume of smoke rising from a vessel that’s completely engulfed in flames.
Long Lake Fire Chief James Van Eyll says three people were onboard when the boat’s engine caught fire.
Two women and one man were able to swim back to a dock and call 9-1-1.
"These three indivduals were good swimmers," Chief Van Eyll said. "The docks were close and a bad night didn’t turn into an even worse night."
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
