Burnsville Police: 1 victim shot in head, no suspects in custody

A victim was shot in the head early Saturday morning, according to the Burnsville Police Department.

At around 1 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 600 block of 145th Street East.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they located a juvenile male in the street who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital and is being treated.

The current condition of the victim is unknown at this time.

Police are searching for three male suspects, all wearing black long sleeve shirts with light-colored jeans. The suspects may have left in a black sedan, said police.

Burnsville Police is asking the public to call 952-322-2323 if someone knows any information regarding the incident.

No further information was given, additional details are expected to be released at a later time.
