Motorcyclist dies in Becker County crash

A Moorhead man is dead after he crashed a motorcycle Saturday night in northwestern Minnesota.

According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash around 9:28 p.m. on County Highway 9 near LaBelle Lake in Cuba Township, Minnesota.

The driver of the motorcycle, 45-year-old Eric Jeffrey Leroux, was found unresponsive. After life-saving measures were unsuccessful, he was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office stated.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
