Mask wearing causing many to lose hearing aids during pandemic

The pandemic is causing a problem for those who are hearing impaired.

Doctors say many people are losing their hearing aids when putting on or taking off a mask.

"Audiologist across the states everybody has been saying, ‘What are we going to do now?’" said Dr. Amanda Bohn, and audiologist with Associated Hearing Care in St. Paul.

Many audiologists are handing out clips that allow you to wrap the mask behind the neck instead of going over the ears.

Hearing aids can cost a few thousand dollars.
