Savage man pleads guilty to arson of Dakota County government building
Wednesday, a Savage man pleaded guilty in connection to the arson of a Dakota County government building.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 32-year-old Fornandous Cortez Henderson entered the plea to one count of aiding and abetting arson.
2 charged with throwing Molotov cocktails into Dakota County government building
According to his plea, he and Garrett Patrick Ziegler made multiple Molotov cocktails, broke multiple windows at the Dakota County Western Service Center and threw in multiple lit Molotov cocktails on the morning of May 29. Their actions caused fire damage to the building.
Henderson and Ziegler also attempted to start other fires at the building by pouring ignitable liquids and attempting to start them on fire.
Henderson’s sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
