UPDATE: 1 suspect arrested from Minneapolis stabbing incident that left 1 in critical condition

One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition after a stabbing in Minneapolis’ Whittier neighborhood Friday night.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to the 2400 block of First Avenue South on a reported stabbing at about 5:50 p.m.

There, officers found a man in critical condition. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police stated on Saturday that they arrested a suspect connected to the incident.

An investigation into the incident is active. More information is expected to be released at a later time.
