Police: Squad car struck by another vehicle in northeast Minneapolis

A Minneapolis police vehicle was involved in a crash Saturday morning.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the police were responding to an unrelated vehicle crash with injuries.

Officers inside a squad car traveled westbound on Lowery Avenue Northeast with lights and sirens activated responding to the call when another vehicle traveling southbound on University Avenue Northeast crashed into the squad car.

Police stated that no injuries were involved in the crash between the officer and the other driver.
