Police investigating deadly shooting in north Minneapolis

Police are investigating a deadly shooting Sunday evening in north Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 7:36 p.m. in the area of Lowry and Knox avenues. Multiple 911 calls mentioned a person who had been shot in a car.
Arriving officers found an adult male believed to be in his 40s shot inside a vehicle. The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
No information about suspects has been released.
