ATF continues investigations into persons of interest in connection to Twin Cities arsons

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives continues to investigate persons of interest in connection to arsons that occurred in the Twin Cities during the civil unrest that followed the death of George Floyd.

Wednesday, the ATF released images of five new people the bureau is seeking to identify.

Investigators are asking for assistance in identifying individuals connected to fires that occurred at Cub Foods, Super USA, Pineda Tacos and Springboard for the Arts.

The bureau stated it also continues to seek assistance from the public in identifying people who "could advance arson investigations."
According to the ATF, a total of 13 people have been arrested on arson-related charges. The agency said six of the 13 arrests can be attributed to assistance from the public.

Those with information on the identification or whereabouts of the individuals is asked to contact ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS, by email at ATFTips@atf.gov or by submitting information anonymously via ReportIt.com and selecting "ATF – St. Paul Field Division."

In addition to identifying persons of interest, investigators are still looking for photos or videos of the nights of unrest from the public.
